ABOUT

Born in 1996 and raised in Vienna, CARMO THE KiD began his musical journey early, studying classical piano from the age of six. By thirteen, he was experimenting with mixing and beatmatching on his first DJ controller — laying the foundation for what would become more than 15 years of experience as a DJ, producer, and songwriter.

His sound gravitates around funky house, tech house, and disco, while his production work explores a broader palette of electronic and organic styles & textures.

In 2020, he co-founded Hive Kartell, a producer collective and recording studio based in Vienna, together with long-time collaborator flohzirkus. Since 2024, he has been part of RaveOnSociety, a local DJ collective, regularly performing at their events and co-organizing pop-up raves that contribute to strengthening Vienna’s younger music and nightlife community.

Outside of music, CARMO THE KiD also works professionally in the creative fields of exhibition design and multimedia production, collaborating with museums and companies on a range of architectural, audiovisual and spatial projects.
